ICE essay topics for preparation and Project Report 1

Hello,
I start preparing for ICE Professional Review. I know that ICE does not have prepared topics for essays on Professional review, however would you have a list of topics after practising on which I could prepare myself well for the review?
Also, where could I have a look at some Project Reports? I know that ICE does not display them because all of them must be different becuase everybody' experience is different, so simply copiyng does not guarantee the success, but I would like to see how it should look like.

You should search the ICE website. They have guidance notes that cover the written assignment. When I did it there was two questions. One, very closely related to the topic of your project report so it will look very familiar and one from a standard list of topics. The list of topics changes from year to year.

I also found it useful to join an essay group. We met once a week and brainstormed the topics on the list and than developed an essay plan for each topic. You then used this to write your own essay. You will need to practice planning, because if you run out of time and dont finish your essay, the only things the examiners have to see how your essay was supposed to look was your plan.

With regard to the reports, most people I know borrowed copies from colleagues who had already passed. If there is no one in your company you might want to ask your sponsors or even your regional liason officer. I would recommend speaking to others who have already jumped through the hoops.

I already joined an essay group. We are meeting once every month though it is a bit too slow for me. Do you know where I could see some previous written essays?

I dont know of anywhere you could get examples. I suppose that is the purpose of the essay group. I got a copy of this book as well, it may come in handy. I wouldnt buy it though maybe see if you can get it from a library. Its written by Jean Venebles who is a current Vice President of the ICE.
