I have a situation where is is building up in a -22 deg F freezer. The main problem is near the doors, which I understand and will probably be addressing with dehumidification units and air curtains. The adjacent space is 40 deg F.
I also have ice issues on the floor below the evaporators and can see ice where the dain pan meets the drain line. Not knowing anything about the refrigeration system at this point, shouldn't the pan be heated and the drain line heat traced? What would cause this ice buildup?
