Hello, I have been involved in developing an articulating tension tool for construction measurement, it holds cords at a tension between 10-60 newton meters. I need the pivoting corners to lock into place by pushing the frame flat and it needs to hold up to 60 newton meters safely and unlock easily (maybe by applying pressure to both solid corners and pressing a release button). The corner pieces are all machined delrin, and rails aluminum and hollow. Simple, strong, economic solutions are desired, all solutions are appreciated!

My ideas have been around maybe a system involving springs and hooks on a cable fed through the rails for release?

Thank you!
