I'm trying to figure out if there's any IEC equivalent to the requirments of NEC 700-702 & 517, as well as related requirements in NFPA 20 & 110, for separate transfer switches to serve emergency, legally required, optional standby, and fire pump loads. So far, I haven't been able to find much anything on this, it seems that IEC perhaps allows one giant transfer switch to serve all generator loads. I'm very much a newbie to the IEC world, much more familiar with NFPA.

Can anyone point me to the applicable IEC document? I understand I'll need to buy this, but I'm not even sure just what document I need to buy.

Are there any other websites which explain the relevant requirements for emergency installtions? Or would anyone care to throw their own thoughts in below?

Well, it looks like in the IEC world, you're allowed to mix everything together onto one big ATS unless NFPA 70 or 20 is also applicable in that country. Don't quote me on this however....
