SKM’s PTW Arc Flash IEEE 1584-2018 calculates additional:
- “Flash Boundaries” based on user defined incident energy, and
- “Incident Energy” based on user defined additional Working Distances.

As shown in attached file,my manual calculations agree with the PTW32 Ver 9003 results 2), 3), and 4) in Fig. 1.
However the PTW results 11) and 12) in Fig. 1 are incorrect.

Figure 1 - SKM PTW IEEE1584-2018 Results

Can someone validate my calculations which show:
- 11) AF_FB@IE1 = 2524 mm, at 1.2 Cal/cm2
- 12) AF_FB@IE2 = 610 mm, at 11.62 Cal/cm2

Can someone validate my calculations for 11) and 12) using a IEEE 1584-2018 spreadsheet ?
The correct results for 2), 3), 4) contradict the incorrect results for 11) and 12).

Due to the cost of the standard, I doubt many have access to the underlying equations. Also, manual calculation is pretty laborious. Might be best to take this up with SKM tech support.

EddyWilbelstrom, I run your case scenario using ARCAD's web app and the results are in agreement with your findings. Namely, 1.2 cal/cm2 @ 2524 mm distance and 11.7 cal/cm2 @610 mm distance:
