Hi,
I noticed that everytime I export anything from NX via IGES translator, when i open the exported iges file, say in Alias, the surface displays very very faceted when shaded, and doesnt even follow close its own wireframe shape.
Same if I import it in Keyshot for rendering.
This always happens. It s quite weird, because it s just maths, and i would expect the applicatiuon where i open the nx iges file to tesselate it using it s own algorithm the normal way. It s not the case.
There is something with the exported files from nx, that is stricty related to how it will tesselate when opened in another application. With non nx exported iges files, this issue does not happen.
I don´t understand.
Any help please?
Thanks.
