IGES to Catia issue

I have several drawing files that were created in Pro-e WF3 and converted to IGES. They were sent to DCX and when converted to Catia the recepient said that the files contain space (3d) elements but he needed 2d elements.

I'm not sure what he means as there is very little options availiable when converting from Pro-e to IGES. Is there a setting he should be activating from the Catia import side?

Catia understands the file extension and loads into the correct module.

Change the extension .igs = 3d catia space, .ig2 = drawing space.
