Hello Everyone,
I am trying to do a simulation in ABAQUS/Explicit in which material drops from shovel bucket under gravity onto a dump truck. And i want to plot the impact force that the material creates as it hits the truck body. And for that i am plotting the contact force vs Time. But the values are exceptionally high. They come in the range of 0.6e+9 N, where as a simple theoretical results are showing that the force should be 89e4 N for 100 tons of material falling under gravity. Please if anybody have nay idea about what this huge difference in appearing and how to mitigate that, kindly help me out.
Thanks,
Danish
