A carbon steel vessel as per ASME Sec. VIII Div.1 satisfy UG-20(f)(1), (2), (4) & (5).
Design temperature is 687 deg.F, so vessel do not satisfy UG-20(f)(3).
As UG-20(f) is not satisfied, does impact testing becomes mandatory ?
-or-
Do I need to further refer Figure UCS-66 to establish impact testing exemptions ?

You may be able to exempt per various provision of UCS-66, you will need a detailed look at it all.

Regards,

Mike

The problem with sloppy work is that the supply FAR EXCEEDS the demand

UCS-66 CHART WILL SHOW IMPACT TEST EXEMPTION AS PER CARBON MATERIAL DESCRIPTION WITH GRADE & THICKNESS .
