For ASME NB ,What is the requirement of Impact testing for A 182 F22. Does it is mandatory for all forging parts above 5/8 inch thickness. Is there a limiting temperature above which Impact test is not required?. What is MDMT of this material. If i am using it above 40 C , do i have to perform Impact testing.
Kindly help me.

Someone will know better to answer your question. But below is my experience for this material since I purchased 2 1/4Cr-1 Mo (8" thick) high pressure hydrogen service vessel before:
NO exemption on the impact test, regardless how high your MDMT is.
For impact test temperature and energy value, comply with API 934 (which will be at -29C), that also includes forging.
We ask vendor to fully comply with API 934 to save headache of crating any specific requirement.

Per ASME VIII, Div.1, Fig, UCS-66, Curve A is to be used, Curve C applies if the forging has been normalized and tempered.
