Hi,
In compress i see a coloum called MDMT,TEST TEMP for a particular material where can i get the values of MDMT and What does test temperature indicates.
I have a vessel with 20" OD and 2700psi int pressure with a thickness of 2.3440.If i run the calcs without impact testing then i get an error saying that Rated MDMT 40F is higher than design MDMT 20F?
Can any one addres this issue

Recommended for you

THE THICKNESS OF 2.344 IN THE MATERIAL LISTED IS EXEMPT FROM IMPACTS DOWN TO +40*F. +20*F IS LOWER TEMP THAN +40*F

IMPACTS ARE REQUIRED

YOU COULD PROBABLY GO TO NORMALIZED MATERIAL TO GET RID OF REQUIRED IMPACTS, BUT CHECK TO MAKE SURE
