Anyone have or know the location of calculations associated with determining the appropriate interference fit for impellers? Concern is impeller bore dilation due to centrifugal force, temperature increase, etc...

Thanks.

I would Start with Mark's handbook and go from there. It is ussually very well referenced.

Or you can crack the textbooks and go pack to first principles.

My fundamentals of engineering supplied reference handbook has the equations for calculating the interface pressure from press or shrink fits followed by the maximum torque that can be transmitted by said fit.

Just my two cents worth.

Always remember, free advice is worth exactly what you pay for it!
