Import Deformed Field in Explicit simulation

I have a simulation where I want to import a deformed field and run with different conditions. This is similar to what we do for Initial Imperfection studies with Eigenvalue bucklings: I run a simulation and take the deformed eigenmodes and use in the next simulation via *Imperfections.

The same setup works by running a Standard simulation, saving the Node File and import to new simulation via the *Imperfection option.

However, this does not work in Explicit simulation. So my question is, is there another way to do this for Explicit simulations?

Many thanks for any replies

It’s possible to use eigenvalue buckling modes from Standard analysis as imperfections in Explicit simulation. But Abaqus also offers import capability that can be used to transfer results (deformed mesh and associated material state) between Standard and Explicit analyses.
