Hi there,
I have created a model from a previous analysis (with the residual stresses and deformation). For this second model, I would like to change the material properties in some elements, so I have created a set of elements, define the section and assigned the new material properties.
My problem is that when I look at the results of this model the material properties have not changed at all. It takes the ones from the model.
I f I have a look at the input file I see that the element set is defined from the library (from the previous job) and I do not know how could I access it and modify the element set.
The input file reads
*Instance, library=job1, instance=sample-mesh-1
*Import, state=yes, update=no
*End instance
Is it possible to change an element set when importing from an .odb file?
Thanks,
Iratxe
