We just upgraded our computers and autocad as well. We went from R14 to Autocad 2007 and now we're having some issues importing the plotter settings from R14 to 2007. The the printer simply doesnt print the lines at the right defined thickness. Some of them are fine so we tried to make all properties for all the colors the same and that did not work out either. We've tried with the add plotter wizard and plot style manager etc. nothing works out.
we're using an HP laserjet 5100

any ideas?

You will have to edit the plotstyle table that you are using. Go to File>>PlotStyle Manager and then either alter an existing or create a new one from a default one (my suggestion) and then alter the penweights to your liking.
