Hello,

i have a .dat file (made it from a .csv) file and when i try to import it for spline creation i get "File contains bad point data on line 1" error.
What is the correct format for the .dat file? Please, see attached file.

Best regards,

Michaël.

Remove the first line and you need a z value for each line.

Get rid of the header row, there should only be point coordinates (numerical data). Each line should contain 3 values (x,y,z). If you supply only 2 values per line (as in your example) you will probably either 1)get errors complaining about the format, or 2)only get x,y points (it appears from your file that you want x,z points; y = 0).
