Hi,

I have 2 autocad dwg files that I'm importing into SW. Problem is, the drawings import in black, grey, pale yellow and pale cyan layers.

Is there any way i can change those colours? Changing the default paper colour doesn't really help - I'm always left with 1 colour thats almost impossible to see.

I can change the colour of a layer, but that only affects any new annotations or lines - not the ones already there.

Thankyou :)

If changing the layer colour doesn't change the line colour, then either the lines aren't on the layer you think they are or your install is corrupt ... or maybe your video card or driver is not suited for your version of SW. Do the lines react to the On/Off toggle?

Try toggling the Color Display Mode option in the Line Format toolbar.

Or group select all the lines and use the line Color tool in the Line Format toolbar.

Yep, i can turn layer visibility on or off from the layers palette.

Colour display toggle works, as well as ctrl+selecting and using the line colour tool.

Thanks Mate ! :)
