Is there a way to import a jpeg file into the field of a drawing.

(We are using pro/e 2001)

Thank you in advance,
SrG.

You can create and insert supported OLE objects into a two dimensional Pro/ENGINEER file, such as a drawing, report, format file, layout, or diagram. You can insert objects into a Pro/ENGINEER drawing by clicking Insert > Object and using the Insert Object dialog box. Pro/ENGINEER provides two methods for inserting OLE objects: linking and embedding. After you insert an object, you can edit it within the Pro/ENGINEER environment or in its separate application window outside of Pro/ENGINEER.
Note: The number and type of supported OLE objects may vary, depending on the other applications installed on the system.

I noticed if you click on "insert" "objects" you get an option to create or insert a bitmap file. However, I did not find a jpeg option. I suppose I could use photoshop to convert my .jpg to .bmp then insert it as a bitmap?

Regards,
SrG.

Not everyone has photoshop, but paint (Start, Programs, Accessories, Paint) will also convert jpg to bmp and is included in most versions of Windows.
