importing dxf into drawing no text

I have a suppliers drawing and imported it into NX 10 part. It shows up in model space as dxf and all lines and text are intact. I have two separate pages and imported them into separate models. I than made a new drawing (with our titleblock) and added views of each model part (dxf drawing). That worked fine but no dimensions or text is showing. I've done this in the past (NX10) and it worked fine. Is there an option that moved? Show sketches or something.

Are the dimensions and text part of the DXF that you imported? Is the DXF model import part and the drawing part separate part files? If so, are the dimensions and text included in the reference set used in the drawing file?

The dimensions and text were from the import. I tried the reference set thing and that didn't help. The basic parts only shows up under "entire part" reference set. I made a new reference set and picked all items and nothing showed up when I changed to that.

My next steps would be to check the "layer visible in view" settings and the "view dependent" status of the objects.

I just made a Tif file and added it to our drawing sheet. Not sure what the problem was. Maybe it was a symbol/block issue in autocad not transfering. I haven't used autocad in sometime.

The color of the text is not the same as the background? This happened to us one time. Silly to think about but it does happen.

I've been doing this too long to rule out silly things. Those will get you every time. Not a color thing though and I get the same results (Missing text) in Ideas and NX.
