Hi Everyone,

Can anyone help me in importing fiber into Abaqus? I have got fiber modelled in Mathematica which I need to do FEA.
Basically, fiber consists 3D coordinates of each point(~200) and radii(constant). Points should be swept to create spline.

Any idea? Thanks in advance

hi mengo

1- instale Slier3 3.6 to convert the fibre to mesh supported by abaqus
2- import this mesh by File----> Imports-----> Model (.inp)

i use this idea to imports any structure for analysis with abaqus
