Importing IGES & STEP files

I frequently need to import step203 files anf Iges files generated on Catia or from our CMM Mitutoyo program. The problem is these file extensions are .step and .iges. UG can only inport extensions .stp and .igs.

Do I need to purchase a add-on to import those extensions?

No, just rename the files to the extension that UG likes.

The data in the files will still be in the proper format,
