Does anyone have or know of routines or translators that will allow AutoCAD to read in native Pro/E part and drawing files and keep the layer scheme intact?

Thanks!

What we do here is just export the file from Pro/E as a .dwg or .dxf file. Then we can open it up in AutoCad like a normal file.

We've done that quite a bit, but the problem is that almost all the line features go to layer 0. We need them to come across on the correctly named layer so that we can use some automatic CNC toolpath processors.
