In NX7.5, if you rmc on a component

In NX7.5, if you rmc on a component in the ANT and go to Properties and then to the General tab there is an icon on the right side that shows the point menu and the name of it comes up as Specify Name Location

What is this used for ?
I tried it and it doesn't seem to work

It only makes a difference if object names are shown (Preferences -> Visualization -> Names/Borders -> Show object names), I believe they are turned off by default. If you turn them on, this option will allow you to specify where the name is displayed in the graphics window.

IIRC, that is for the on-screen name display. (Preferences, Visualization, Names / Borders, Show Object Names, Work view)
