I have a client (multifamily hoa) with a lot of 25-30 year old CMP in place. It's probably got 5 to 10 good years left in it, so they're looking for ways to prolong it's life without ripping it all out. I've spoken to companies who coat the interior of pipes with concrete, but you lose an inch or three in diameter so it doesn't work great for small diameter pipe. Most of this stuff is 15 to 18 inch. Currently the inverts are showing rust discoloration but nothing is rusted through yet.

Are there companies who can just pave the inverts, or bituminous coat in-situ? What's that cost per lf?

beej67 - have you considered pvc liner? there are some products out there that can slide into the existing culvert and maintain the structural nature of the pipe.

Can you point me to a company that does this sort of stuff?

Aha. I needed the right search term. "CIPP" does it for me. Thanks for the help.
