Incline Point Load at the Joint? 1

How to apply an incline point load at a joint in a frame without dividing the load into its componets?

Is the point load applied to the frame at the 0 distance considered to be the applied load at the joint or not?

you must divide it into his components. And yes, the load at 0 distances is considered to be applied at the joint. You can make a simply supported beam in order to prove it. Regards,

Dear Sebastian

Thank you for your reply. Actually I figured out a way to appled the force and I see it better to share it with you.
The model that I had in SAP was a steel from for a warehouse with inclined roof. The wind load appled perpendicular to the roof at the joints. So I defined new coordinate system and I rotate it equal to the angel of roof then I appled the wind force in the Z direction of the rotated axis.

Regarding the second question I did not know that and thanks again for your valuable information.

You could have also rotated the local axis of the joint(s).
