Incorrect data reading

Hello,

I am engaged in modeling the processes of laser shock hardening. This task have 2 parts. Firstly, you solve a Dynamic Explicit part and I have field of stress.

The I need to import this field to another one model Static. But after calculations in second part of task I get another field of residual stresses, which is not physical at all. I have the same geometry and mesh.

I've been working in abaqus recently, maybe I'm doing basic mistake.

Try using import functionality, described in the documentation chapter "Transferring results between Abaqus/Explicit and Abaqus/Standard". This technique allows you to import the deformed mesh and associated material state from Explicit to Standard or vice versa.
