Has anybody attempted to create an indented BOM on NX ?
I realize there is no ANSI or ISO standard that specifies the use of them, but we were asked by our superior to try to create them.
Somebody is ready here to use programming methods if that what it takes.
We use TeamCenter and are on NX1899

In the assembly navigator, if you "expand all" and "export to spreadsheet" it will result in an indented BOM in Excel.

I don't know of a way to automatically get indentation on a parts list shown on a drawing. But there might be a way to do it; I don't deal with parts lists all that often these days...

Are you looking for the existing NX parts list to be indented ?
I have never seen this , do not know if it is possible.

As Cowski noted , you can export the Assembly navigator to excel and also "browser"
both will produce a indented list.
( and will include all visible assembly navigator columns)
There is also a old feature called "Assembly diagram" which will create an ( non associative) assembly tree graph on the XC-YC.
Lines and notes, grouped. Can be used to visualize the structure.
