So, I'm doing a plan checker revision today and there is a comment to "Indicate how the strap will be installed when the end length is longer than the beam depth".1735885473236.png
This is the detail he is refering to. I don't know how to indcate the strap to be installed when end length is longer? Can any one give me a detail for that? Any Advice? Thank You!

If the end length is longer than the beam you just use a strap that has an end length equal to/ smaller than the beam depth.

Usually you just have to bump up the strap type/ ga. to something stronger or use an MSTC48/66 for high loads.
