Industrial Touch Screen Monitor Replacement Problems

I'm trying to replace an obsolete touch screen monitor with a newer model. This is a DOS machine running a gauging application programmed in C++. I've replaced the screen, installed the DOS driver, ran the calibration program, and checked the touch locations successfully with an edit program. When I run the gauging application, I touch the lower half of the screen and the pointer is active on the top half. Touching on the top half of the screen appears to do nothing. I've tried different monitors, cables, COM ports, and gauges (computers). I've re-installed the drivers and re-ran the calibration procedure. I'm currently talking to the manufacturer and making minimal progress.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to use the utility package to set the effective area before you run the calibrration. Looks like your dpi matrix is not defined in the touch screen utility package.
