Does anybody know if an industrial truck rated EE under certifications ASME/ANSI B56.8, ANSI/NFPA-505, ANSI/UL-583 and OSHA 1910.178 is suitable for a hazardous area Class I, Div. I.
Thanks in advance...

Ms. Molano the" EE" Rating is for use in dust environments such as paper ormetal dust or any type of dust that may be flammable. The"EX" Rating would be the proper type of truck for flammable airborne substances or environments. OSHA 29 CFR 1910.178(c)(2)(iii), NFPA 70-1971, ANSI C1-1971. Hope this helps Homie

Not sure if a company called Pyroban operate in the US try looking them up. They retrofit and produce conversion kits for trucks to the new European ATEX Directives(explosive atmospheres)
