Hi All,

I couldn't understand how inertia releief approach solve the probelm without any constraints.

I have referred many documents available in Internet but i am not clear about the concept.

Can any one through some light on this.

Thanks for your time

i'm guessing that you are referring to applying equal and opposite loads to a model. eg lift on the wings and tailplane and inertia reaction (weight) on all th epieces of the plane.

even if you do this, you still need to constrain the 6 degrees of rigid body motion; maybe fix one node in space (constrain x, y, z, rx, ry,rz).
