Hi
I am to modeling in ABAQUS. I am currently modeling a RC coupling beam. My load for this beam is however rotational ( I have attached the figure describing the rotation. I modeled the concrete as a solid, however I tried various approaches trying to model the load on the beam.
1. I tried inputing the rotations in the form of rotational body force.
2. I tried entering the load as a rotational BC.
3. With the both the methods I tried kinematic coupling.
When I went over some of the posts here I realized that rotational dof for solid cannot be mentioned (??).
I open to any suggestion on how to go about modelling this
