I would appreciate any info available on this vacuum pump I acquired in order to fab a vacuum table for my 2x3 cnc router. I've looked for any info on it and have come up with nothing. There are numbers in the cast 21245 BE and B B-E... nothing else other than the intake and exhaust ports. I can't even seem to find photos of anything similar so I have no idea of what I have here.

Well what you have is a pump and motor of unknown size, duty or operations.

I other words, some scrap metal.

Did you find it on the street?

Does it work and do what you want it to do, if yes - 100% success, if not as LI said, scrap metal.

It is a capital mistake to theorise before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts. (Sherlock Holmes - A Scandal in Bohemia.)

Looks like a two-stage diaphragm pump, so relatively robust and relatively tolerant of abuse compared to a rotary vane pump. As for who made it, I have no idea. Perhaps you'll get more success now you know what you've actually got there.

Try to get a clear photo of just the pump and do a Google image search.
