Hello all. I have a vickers 2230321bb20 hydraulic pump on a 1/4" shear. Had trouble getting this shear to pump any fluid so I reversed the direction of motor and now it pumps up to about 1200 lbs. However it is now tripping the breaker. Can anyone help me determine if I have the correct rotation. Somone told me there should be an arrow on pump to indicate direction but I could not find one. It would also help if I knew the pressure rating of pump as the shear cylinders that move the blade down started leaking. I took them out and are in the shop getting the seals replaced. I just don't want the pressure to get too high and cause the new seals to go out. Any help on determineing rotation of pump and pressure rating would help. Thanks,

Try the fluid power forum, but can you identify the pump type and model. Those numbers don't seem to make sense, but they do say the pump can be configured to work in either direction....

Thanks for your reply. The pump has 1 input port and what appears to be to outputs. The larger hose is as far as I can tell is the input. Will try the fluid power forum. Thanks.
