Howdy all,

We have here a 15' Farnham roll forming machine that looks ancient, but works fine. The operation of the machine is very straight forward, but we do not have anyone who knows how to use it to produce an intended shape and we have no information about care and adjustment. I've done a google search and can find a couple of references but not really good information.

Does anyone have a user or maintenance manual or a link to more information about them? I'd like to know everything I can about this machine.

Also one of the applications I use it for is roll forming aluminum honeycomb core to give it positive complex contour. Usefull information about this application would also be appreciated.

Thanks for any help you could provide.

Cool. $50 bucks for a manual. That's not unreasonable. Now if I can get my boss to buy it.

Kirby,
I have had hands on use of these rollers.
As a general rule, but not always, Roll the largest radii first, then the next tightest, and so on. Where possible, increase the pressure on the part with the piece moving so as not to leave a ridge line in the part. If you want more specific instruction, post back, after you have read the maintenance manual.
