information request on class/condition/temper definition in ASME B 31.3 Table A1

It's the material specification classified in the ASTM material codes. It may be based on the chemical composition, mechanical strength, heat treatment, etc.
 
Some ASTM specs allow for multiple materials at different strength levels, some specs simply put them into groups while others designate them by specific minimum strength.
Either way to need to read the ASTM spec to find the chemistry, required HT, and minimum acceptable strength.
