Initial stresses read from output database because element type is incorrect?

Hello,

I have a silly problem thats been bothering me. I am doing a simple model of just a soil block using (C3D8R) element type. My first step is the initial default step with the predefined field of stresses (user input stresses due to own weight). My second step includes gravity force on the soil block and including the boundary condition of fixidity on the boundaries.
When I run the model just to check if the displacements are very small and the geostatic step is successful I get the following message as a warning:
"Initial stresses will be read from the output database. This type of initial conditions is supported only for continuum elements, and the initial conditions will be ignored for other element types."
The deflections im getting are of order ^-6 and the stresses are correct, it is just bothering me because I am quiet sure I am using the correct element type. Is there something I am doing wrong?
Are these the correct element type to use for soil? I have noticed that sometimes the element type changes according to the mesh I am using (Hex/tet etc).

Thank you!
