Injection Molding Machine - Questions

Hello,

I am interested in liquid injection molding with liquid silicone rubber.

1) Is there a particular liquid injection molding machine needed for liquid silicone rubber?
2) What is the smallest machine that can perform liquid injection molding? All of them I have seen are huge. Is there a machine that is compressed into a tinier size without all the bells and whistles?
3) Are there any modern, user-friendly books or publications recommended so I can learn more about the basics of (1) liquid injection molding with liquid silicone rubber, (2) molds, and (3) liquid silicone rubber?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Yes, special configuration of machine is required. Dedicated screw and barrel and LSR feed system.

Here is one machine makers take on it (they probably have most of the European market for LSR machines). There will be others:

They make machines down to 125kN clamp force, which is quite small.
