While writing repair dispositions for composite aircraft for the most part I call out EA 9394 to fill in holes of various sizes that needed to be drilled out because of delamination's or whatever. This is considered a structural adhesive and does it's job well. I have been talking to a friend from another company and he tells me they use BMS5-92 for the same repairs with good results. Both of the aircraft we work on are carbon fiber.
I'm looking for input from others in the aerospace industry on these 2 compounds and would like to know if there are other maybe better options. Thanks for your time.
