Hi, I have been using Inventor for a couple of weeks but I've hit a couple of snags. Any help would be kindly appreciated!

1). How do you insert a cylinder into two larger diameter holes that are inclined to each other?

2). Can you engineer in bending allowances into assemblies where parts need to be bent slightly to fit?

Attached is an assembly drawing where both problems have brought my progress to a halt!

Thank you in advance!

Ben

You will have to model the rod in it's bent form.
Sweep

You could constrain centerpoint of circle to centerpoint of circle or centerpoint of circle to axis through hole.

Thank you, I eventually mated the centre points of the bar and holes together and extended the extrusion to meet up with the other hole before mating their circle centres together.

Thanks for the help!
