Hello everyone,
I have a question about the assembly activites of a heat exchanger which has a floating head tube bundle. Tema type is BES for an example and the length is over 6m. First we pull the bundle, than cleaning and inspections are done for both the bundle and the shell. Next we insert (push) the bundle with using bundle puller. The thing is after the insertion we see some turning on the floating head side, it turns around 5°-10°. Basically it looks all good from the view of the fixed tubesheet side but it looks it turned from floating head side. Is it normal or any idea how to prevent this?
Thank you so much.
