Inspection in USA 1

Hi there,
We are a company who are going to have manufactured pressure vessels (weight 200 tons each) in the USA. besides the AIA we need to make our own inspections to ensure both progress and quality. The components will be manufactured over a 2 year period. Does anyone have a suggestion of which inspection agencies would be suitable for a job such as this?

Best way to approach this is to check with your selected AIA. Most likely, your AIA would provide a good recommendaiton for NDT. There are numerous NDT companies but you want one that can deliver the results and stick to schedule.

I can personally recommend Acuren Insp., MTB Quality, Moody International. 3rd party Inspx is an excellent idea. AIA will not check construction items that do not affect pressure capacity: nozzle alignment & projection, flange squareness and rotation, etc. Just design, material, welding, and NDE, then the hydro.
