Installing Only Solidworks Explorer From The DVD

I already have the Solidworks 2008 software installed except for the explorer portion.

I would like to know if there’s a way to install only the “Solidworks Explorer” from the DVD without having to re-install the entire Solidworks software?

Any response will be greatly appreciated!

Check to see if you have solidworksexplorer.exe on your C:\ drive.

If you find that you are unable to install from the DVD, you can download the SW Explorer package manually from the Customer Portal Downloads section.

I do not have much time to write this up, so please forgive any issues.

Go to your control panel add remove programs.
Change SolidWorks install
In the installation manager do a new install of SolidWorks Explorer under "SolidWorks Eplorer/Workgroup PDM"
Be careful not to uninstall anyother SolidWorks products.

You can also insert the DVD, and explore the disc (RMB on the disc in My Computer, choose Explore), navigate through the folders to SWexplorer, (the folder names are pretty intuitive), and run the setup.exe in that folder.
