On a recent post I mentioned a condensor line that was Rt'd instead of a hydro (because the line could not be isolated).
My question is could any other form of ndt been done.
This line did not meet the requirements of Rt under B31.1.
In the previous post I was asked if the customer had stipulated this requirement (Rt), the answer is yes.

You have no choice, if the customer wanted an RT and it is rejected, make the necessary repairs. My comment above would pertain to this job from the start, not after you completed welding and committed to RT.
