Integration of Catia4 and Catia5

I am looking for a manual or any instructions for using CatiaV4 and CatiaV5 together. (I am interested particularly of Catia 4 v4.2.4 and Catia 5 v5.7) Is there any available or are there some

The V5 online documentation has a whole &quot;book&quot; and tuturial on 4<>5 integration.

Also on the doc disks is a pdf manual for for the products; makes it easy to print for study.

what do you mean by using CatiaV4 and CatiaV5 together?

Do you really think you can work with your file in V4 then change and continu with V5 and then back to V4...

Know this: V5 can READ V4 file, not work with V4 elements !
V5 can translate V4 element into V5 element.

And V4 can LOAD as passive V5 CATPart, you cannot active the CATPart in V4.

The best for you would be to contact some (several) specialists and ask for a detailled quotation of what you need (to know or to do). There you will have (free of charge) some information about V4 and V5... Have fun,
