interference checking

Hello There,
is there any way we can check the interference between
waterlines and ej pins,screws,dowels or any other feature
with specified interference value.Our company shifted to
NX for mold designs and we still have to figure out many things :)

From the Analysis menu you can select Simple interference.
From the Assemblies menu select Assembiies - Components - Check Clerances.

If you have the license there is an Assembly Clearance option that can check for interference between selected components and produce reports etc. It does a lot more than can be explaned here. I would recommend reading the help docs on this subject.

Look up 'assembly clearance' and/or 'check clearance' in the assembly help file. I don't remember if these need an advanced assemblies license or not (I don't think they do).

If you just want to see if there is interference between 2 components, a quick way is 'simple interference'. I know that doesn't need an advanced license.
 
Assembly clearance will do it. I have the opposite problem to cowski in that I know I have and Advanced Assemblies Licence so it is difficult for me to prove or disprove that you don't need it.

What you can do to get the best out of it is to define two sets of bodies or components by following the menus and selecting the pins and fasteners separately from the main structural components. Depending on what objects that you add to which set objects may not be compared with one another but only with objects in the other set. It may save you some time, but I'm afraid it will probably catch every case where there is a thread on a fastener at least the first time around. Once the obviously negligible interferences have been found then they can be excluded for the purposes of any future checks. Your assembly clearance checks are saved with your files and can be used and maintained for subsequent checks and design changes.

I'm not sure its quite what you need for your application but there is a 'Motion Simulation' tool which allows you to articulate a set of assembled components and highlight any collisions.

Also I believe the 'Assembly Sequencing' tool can highlight collisions when you identify the order that parts are built into a assembly.
