Anyone has experience or knowledge to share on the test how this being carry out ?

1Does performance test really simulate the real service condition or sometimes tests are carry out with some
Deviations from API 676 .

2how hydrostatic test pressure is determined ?

3Would test at lower diff Pressure be acceptable?

As API 676, guaranteed point should be within specified 0 or + 3% rated capacity and Pressure.

Does variation or minor deviation still be acceptable or strictly unacceptable

Performace testing is carried out as per API standards, not real service conditions. Real life service conditions rarely match factory testing environments. Any information on testing proceedures or bench marks will be found in the API standards. The latest standards are available from API. If you have concerns about a facilities testing systems require a witnessed test. You can review the testing procedures and data yourself.

For example the speed: if real service condtion is
180 rpm, 20 m3/ hr, 1000 cps,

Would the real test of 150, 19.6 m3/hr, 200 cps be acceptable in carrying out performance test

To add for hydrostatic test in measuring leakage, if the standard factory of 280 psi would be acceptable for mechanical seal that has maximum hydro pressure of 350 psi, meaning we dont test to maximum.

For duration of mechanical run test what is the api standard : 2 hour or more ?
