Dear Friends,
I have designed a heating coil (Steam) for existing vessel, for the client requirement I have made some changes in that design.
But I dont know how to recheck the design. I will share the details please help to resolve this.
the vessel is working at atm condition
heating coil has 2" size and 3.5 bar pressure.
The client requirement is: The vessel should not be damage, instead of can use existing 6" spare nozzle.
In this 6" nozzle need to bore for 2x2" pipe and made floor type (Spiral type) heating coil.
The problem is, in 6" nozzle can't place 2x2" pipes (space constrain), so provide reducer to 1.5" at inlet and outlet position.
My question is, If I provide reducer in heating coil inlet and outlet position, is there any pressure drop will occur? Due to this any design will affect?

Thanks
