Hi all,
I am searching to see if there are any standards commonly used for hydraulic cylinders. We are trying to standardise the ones we use and would like to apply something commonly used.
I'm sending this from New Zealand, we are a metric country. Most of what we use here is either ISO, or Australian standard for other things. I have found ISO 6020 - 2 for mounting dimensions, this is a good start to us. Does anyone know of anything else that may need to be considered?
Also, we often produce equiptment that may be sent to the US. Is metric sizing starting to find its way into the manufacturing world (sheet metal production lines mostly) there yet? If yes, do you guys use ISO for your metric equiptment? Otherwise, what would the American standard be for cylinder sizing?
Thanks in advance,
Hayden
