Internet Explorer won't link to secure sites 1

My internet explorer will follow a hyperlink to a secure web site ie HTTPS sites. All I get is a blank screen. Anyone have any ideas?

We had this problem also. The bank's answer was to right-click the screen and refresh. We were told is is a problem with IE. Thanks Microsoft.

My IT person looked into it and somehow found a corrupt dll file. When she replaced it everything worked fine.
